The Way Of Walking Alone - 21 Rules To a Path of Discipline

$0+

The legendary warrior Miyamoto Musashi spent his final days as a recluse living in a cave, devoting his time to meditation and self reflection.

When his end was near, Musashi gathered his closest friends and pupils to give away his few possessions and to say a last goodbye.

To his favourite pupil, Musashi entrusted his famous work on combat and strategy: “The Book of Five Rings” as well as a lesser known text titled “Dokkodo”.

Translated as “The Way of Walking Alone” Musashi’s Dokkodo reveals the master’s philosophy and methods to living a disciplined life of purpose.

These 21 precepts are rooted in Musashi’s immense life experience and Zen Buddhist beliefs, gifted to serve as a guidebook to a dedicated young man in his pursuit of self development and mastery.

This latest version of the Dokkodo contains Musashi's original 21 precepts. Each precept has been extended in the writing style of Musashi for the reader to delve further into its meaning and apply its wisdom to their own life.
